This is my project for the last assignment in Kelas Pagi Yogyakarta. The main theme of the assignment was Happy Day, where students were free to interpret the theme into visual work of their choice.
I wanted to visualize happy related to sex. Sex is part of a living creature's happiness. Here, I am illustrating sex activity with a barbie and a crocodile.
In Indonesia, crocodile symbolizes a playboy. However, crocodile is actually very loyal to its partner. I want to emphasize the symbolic meaning of the crocodile that is known among Indonesian people by using crocodile as the subject here. Thus, crocodile is perfect to interpret the visual that I want to show, which as playboy who is happy when he is having sex.
